Side 1 of this record is dedicated to my friends. These first 3 songs are supposed to represent daytime, love, fun, play, and laughter. And that is impossible without your best buddies by your side! Even though I fantasize about running away to the mountainside to engrave poems on cave walls and lie in the stream and cleanse my ears Han-Shan style, I would never leave you pals behind.

Side 2 is dedicated to all of the ambient artists whose music has made me kinder, wiser, and calmer. To name a few: Brian Eno, Hiroshi Yoshimura, Chuck Johnson, Harold Budd, Steve Roach, Max Richter, Alaskan Tapes, H Takahashi, and Emily Sprague. These last 3 tracks represent nights spent alone, perhaps with a mug of tea and ambient music to keep the breath afloat through the waves of mysterious discomfort that seep into my room from the cold night air. I hope these songs can provide that comfort to someone else.

I hope you enjoy this album, dear listener. But it is okay if you do not.

Recorded between 1/12/2022 and 3/7/2023. First 4 tracks made on my Tascam 488 mk2, but it broke so I had to send it in for repair so the last 2 tracks were made on a Tascam 414 mk1. Synths used were the Korg Minilogue and Behringer Deepmind 12.

Everything done by me except the faint sound of a pencil on paper on the title track which was done by Alex. Must I credit the birds? Honestly the whole of nature deserves like all of the credit for this record. I do not really own anything. We are all one or something like that I think is basically what I am saying
